1. Agreement

By downloading or using the LondonLore app ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the App. The App is operated by Sand Dollar Apps LLC ("we", "us").

2. Licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App on any device on which you have legally installed it, subject to the applicable platform store terms (Apple Media Services Terms, Google Play Terms of Service, or equivalent) and these Terms.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
• Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the App.
• Misrepresent the App's AI-generated content as authoritative historical fact in academic or professional contexts without independent verification.

4. AI-generated content

Some content in the App — including narrated biographies, responses to voice queries, and curated walk commentary — is generated by AI systems. While we make reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors or omissions. This content is provided for entertainment and general informational purposes only. It is not a substitute for professional historical research or advice.

5. Intellectual property

All original content in the App (design, code, curated text, audio) is owned by Sand Dollar Apps or licensed for use. Blue plaque inscriptions are reproduced with reference to publicly available records maintained by English Heritage and other bodies. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from App content without our prior written consent.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any content in the App.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Sand Dollar Apps shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App. Our total liability to you shall not exceed £10.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the App at any time, without notice, for any reason. You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of any updated Terms.
